Monkeys are extremely smart and social, and theyre like us in SO many ways. Pretty cool, right?! So you know whats NOT cool? This: A recent PETA investigation revealed never-before-seen footage from inside a secret National Institutes of Health (NIH) lab, where baby monkeys are torn away from their mothers at birth, locked alone inside tiny metal cages, and forced to endure a lifetime of torture! Imagine what it would feel like to have this be your childhood: Speak up for these baby monkeys: Call NIHs director, Dr. Francis Collins, at 301-496-2433 and tell him these cruel experiments need to end now! Heres a suggestion for what you can say: I just learned about the cruel experiments that a National Institutes of Health laboratory in Maryland has been conducting on baby monkeys.
