Monsoon season is coming, be prepared for lightning. Remember to always have a lightning safety plan and cancel any outdoor activities if you expect that a thunderstorm might occur. If you are outdoors when lighting strikes make sure to seek shelter as soon as possible and remember to avoid any metal objects. Even if you are indoors you are not always protected from the storm. To protect yourself and others stay away from any doors and windows and try not to use your telephone. For added safety consider unplugging any computers and TV sets.
