Months 3 to 4 Some of the BEST PARTS of our trip happened in October and November. Highlights - seeing so much family! Jennys family in Bali and Philippines; Brandons parents in an RV US road trip; Glis and Leah (and Tom and Kiel of course) in LA! No matter where you are, THINGS ARE BETTER WITH LOVED ONES. Lombok, Indonesia The MOST PICTURESQUE AND SECLUDED white sand clearwater beaches weve ever seen. Not to mention every type of water possible: surfing, wading, small easy, and hard-to-stay standing. Each less touristy than the next. Quite undiscovered still - visit! And you MUST travel by scooter - too fun having that wind blowing in your hair and gripping my driver so tightly... Brandon of course. Also, HUNDREDS OF DOLPHINS swimming and jumping around you is miraculous. Finally, made friends with a little shopgirl Lara and her mom. They made us a home cooked meal and we visited their village. Thanks for the hospitality and love. Bali, Indonesia Amazing in a totally different way. More about the beautiful temples and artistic people. Lovely friendly people and lively environment. Great food too! Bohol, Philippines My first taste of beautiful Philippines outside of family visiting. Saw my FAVOURITE animal - the tarsier. Look it up. And the breathtaking Chocolate Hills are not to miss. Boracay, Philippines Maybe the best water and sand weve seen... But a bit loud for our 30-year-old introverted tastes. So packed at night! But definitely a highlight seeing my mom snorkel. Proud of her! Jencen too, lol. El Nido, Philippines I thought Lombok had the best beaches... But this place definitely competed. Imagine a magazine photo of the best beach on earth - this is El Nido. AND THE BEST SNORKELLING. Too many fish, too many waters to choose. One of my favourite places ever. Manila, Philippines HATE THE TRAFFIC. LOVE MY FAMILY. Thanks for sharing your home and love. I wish we could be closer but Im so happy to see you all happy. And oh Nanay. I love you. Oh yeah, BEST FOOD EVER. I may be biased, but I dont care. Note: must go back to Vikings one day. Los Angeles Funnest night having $5 unlimited tacos with my cousins. Oh, and drunk as usual. Thanks for making the trip Leah and Kiel! Thanks for my engagement cake and flowers, Glis aka MOH, and Tom! Not to mention the place to stay and drives. MISSING YOU ALL ALREADY! RV trip - Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and California. Honestly, too many natural breathtaking sites to name let alone describe - please see pictures (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lower Antelope Valley, Colorado hot springs, to name a few). But also combined this trip with the liveliness of Vegas and LA. But BEST PART was definitely sharing it with Kathy and Gary. CRAZY RV nights laughing till my stomach hurt and all the walks and talks. Twizzler. Again, thanks for spending your vacation time with us. Next time we update, itll be our last leg....... Sigh....
