The workers want a 13.5 per cent wage increase over three years. = Montreals police and fire departments have stopped using a new radio communication system. Firefighters say it worked flawlessly when they started to first use it, 4 months ago, but an last week an intermittent problem developed. = The Montreal police union has begun a campaign this week looking for our help to put an end to traffic ticket quotas. The police union says tickets are tax collection only and have nothing to do with traffic safety.
