Moot Court Association - Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia Notification: Call for Papers: NLSIU-CIPRA’s Intellectual Property E-Journal; Submit by Oct 16 About Us CIPRA IP Journal is flagship E- journal in the area of Intellectual property rights published quarterly by Centre for Intellectual Property Research and Advocacy (CIPRA), MHRD IP – Chair, National Law School of India University (NLSIU). The E-journal strives and aims at providing a source of qualitative and well-researched jurisprudence to intellectual property lawyers, academicians and students, while simultaneously encouraging contributions from all these quarters. The purpose of introducing this E-journal is to create open access for every reader who is interested in the field of intellectual property rights. Call for Submissions The peer-reviewed journal “CIPRA IP Journal” solicits high quality articles pertaining to areas of intellectual property law. Contributions are invited for its 2nd Issue from IP enthusiasts of all sections in the form of articles, essays, book reviews, case comments and/or notes on the issues pertaining to “Fair Use/ Fair Dealing under the Copyright Regime” Submission Guidelines The authors must follow the guidelines given below: 1. Word Limit Word limit varies according to the nature of the contributions: a. Articles (4,000-5,000 words, inclusive of footnotes) b. An Essay (3,000 – 4,000 words, inclusive of footnotes) c. Case Comments (2,500-3,000 word, inclusive of footnotes) d. Book Review (not exceed 2,000 words, inclusive of footnotes) 2. Abstract All manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract of about 250-300 words stating the theme of the paper precisely. 3. Format The body of the contribution should be in Times New Roman, size 12 and in 1.5 spacing, with all pages numbered. The journal uses footnotes and not endnotes. The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10 and single spacing. 4. Citation Method The citation style must conform to ‘The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation, 19th Edition.’ 5. Co-authoring of Papers Co-authoring of papers is permissible only for ARTICLES. 6. About the Authors A small biographical paragraph describing the Name, E-mail address, Postal Address, author’s position, research interest and recent publication should accompany the manuscript. Submission Details 1. All submissions should be made electronically in the form of a MS Word (.doc) file at [email protected] 2. The last date for submission of the manuscripts is October 16, 2014.
