More Disaster Ahead My heartily tribute to people who lost their lives in Kedarnath and other vicinal areas of Uttarakhand; but this is time review our indiscriminate development policy in light of present disaster; because it is 10% nature and 90% man made, more precisely it is POLITICALY INDUSCED CLAMITY, because in our country politician tend to find political solutions instead technical and scientific, they just want intact their vote bank and stick with Political power at any cost and can cross any limit regardless to political parties, as they allowed projects which damaged Uttarakhand’s ecosystem badly, which would not there. The same thing is happening rest of the country. Present disaster in the manifestation of continuous damage and interfere in delicate Ecosystem of Himalaya. Indiscriminate blasting for Hydel power projects and deforestation. Mountains without green cover can be considered as heap of Clay. Natural forces make its way in its own way, exactly what happened in KEDARNATH, we have lost thousands of innocent lives. In the same way our Tourism Policy must also be reviewed; tourism in core area of forest and inside the delicate ecosystems is causing continuous damage to our biosphere; causing extinction of flora and fauna, this is also making human lives more vulnerable. Tourism should not be revenue generation based it should be awareness prevailing and conservation practice based. Hence tourism possibilities should not be exploited indiscriminately. Despite put more and more pressure of our ever burgeoning need of Power (electric) can’t we cut a bit in our luxurious need, can’t we give up luxury truism and opt eco friendly habits and lifestyle and eco friendly tourism. Politician should also need to behave more responsibly, they should not allow industries or such project which may damage ecosystem, during making of policy or sanctioning projects, ecologist and scientist must be involved along with Bureaucrats and Politicians; Ecologist and Scientist have VETO role in policy approving or approving projects. We should ask ourselves Development for WHAT and For WHOM; if it is for future, if it for our forthcoming generation; then can we give future for our next generation through present greedy policies and politics for vote and power. Politics should be for Voters and for Nation; Policies should be for Development not for Disaster; Planning should be for Future and for Mother Nature and sustainability of our natural resources. Natural Resources should be used for humanity and for nature itself, not be exploited carelessly and irresponsibly just to gain wealth. Our next generation has similar right over Mother Nature and its resources we should conserve for their lives. Wealth (Money) will not help to our coming generation because Natural Forces do not take any Bribe as our Political and Industrialist nexus what exactly trying to gain by exploiting Natural resources; this must be understood as soon as possible, because situation tend to get bad to worse.
