More Food Fests as the summer gets started in earnest here in hot Louisiana! The BUNKIE CORN FESTIVAL is June 12 - 14,2014. Held in Bunkie, LA, the Corn Fest will feature a large carnival, food booths and arts and craft booths, live music, with a street dance, games, contests, lizard races, corn cooking contest, childrens parade, big city wide parade, as well as tennis and softball tournaments and a talent contest. On Saturday, June 14 at Mardi Gras World, attendees can choose to sample over 250 ales, lagers, stouts, IPAs, home brews and more! Temper all that beer with tasty treats from food trucks at the venue.
