More Interbreed success for the Droughtmasters this past weekend with both the Champion Interbreed Bull and Champion Interbreed Female trophies awarded to the Droughtmaster exhibits at the Samford Show. Located on the outskirts of Brisbane in the picturesque Samford Valley , the Samford Show attracts a large number of people over the two day show and there was certainly a crowd gathered to view the stud beef cattle judging. Six breeds were represented and judged by Andrew Sinnamon, Yugilbar Santa Gertrudis, Grafton NSW. The Champion Interbreed Bull was awarded to Carnudge Buddy Boy exhibited by Greg and Linda Nugent of Carnudge Droughtmaster Stud at Laceys Creek near Dayboro. The Nugent family also took home the Champion Interbreed Female trophy for their cow and calf exhibit, three year old Carnudge Mi-YaYa. Many thanks to Bronwyn Betts, Nindethana Droughtmasters for this report & photos.
