More about the job skills seminar, and about BHS Office Procedures/Co-op class: Mrs. Bonnie Saunders, Business Chair and Instructor of the Office Procedures/Co-op class, requested that Dan Cravens and some of his panel of professionals come speak to the students, who are mostly seniors graduating this year. She felt it would benefit the capstone course students in Office Procedures who have been working in and out of the district (on-the-job) gaining work experience and preparing to compete in Business Professionals of America events, which begin in December. Regional Competition will be held in Idaho Falls at EITC January 10, 2014. The top two in every individual competition, and top two teams in team events, will qualify to compete at BPA State Leadership Conference in March. Those competitors who qualify will attend BPA National Leadership Conference in 2014 in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent avenue for students who want to experience leadership opportunities, enhance their resume, and accelerate their careers beyond high school. Students who go on to colleges and universities have the extended opportunity to join a Post-secondary chapter.
