More and more, Three more people sick with dengue fever in this border, bringing the number of cases so far this year increased to 28, announced the Sanitary District Number Three. Gerardo Garcia Salinas, head of the department of the Ministry of Health, said the confirmation of these three cases did the State Laboratory of Public Health. He noted that the three people who became ill and was undergoing treatment under medical supervision and hoped that in about two weeks to be fully restored. He said that, as established in the protocol for these cases, the health fence was activated around the homes of the three sick people. He noted that this action is the integral fumigation of the house where the patient resides and as all contiguous and located opposite houses. The health brigades go to each household informing residents that this is a preventive action following the detection of a case of dengue, and asking for permission to spray everything. He said that while the homes are fumigated, residents are informed by health workers about what is to be done to prevent the proliferation of mosquitoes, in this case the elimination of breeding sites that can be in and out of houses. Note that in this same time last year but had been confirmed 148 cases of classic dengue and hemorrhagic 37, and not less than 375 cadres suspected of the disease.
