More denial from Labour here. When will they take responsibility and when will they make serious attempts to control the levers that can make a difference to jobs and the Welsh economy? Its either not their fault or everything in the garden is rosy. Its time Wales had a government prepared to get a grip on the Welsh economy. Plaid Cymru wants to tackle our problems, so that we can end our fiscal dependence and stand on our own two feet. Whats the Welsh governments plan? Do they have one? A Welsh government spokesman defended the figures and said the rate was lower than at the same time last year. He said youth unemployment continued to fall faster in Wales than in the UK. Employment in Wales remains well above its historic average and claimant count is at its lowest rate since 2008, said the spokesman.
