More details about volleyball... Last night all 4 volleyball teams traveled to Keene and earned victories. All teams won their match in only two games. The 7th Grade B Team won 25-9 and 25-7. Out standing servers were Demonica Johnson and Kayley Cockerham. Overall, the team had a great first game! The 7th Grade A Team also won 25-10 and 25-21. Out standing servers for the A team were Treasure Mozon, Cassidy Pope, and Emery Leech. With this being many of their first time ever playing and one week of practice, they had an overall outstanding performance. The 8th Grade B Team won with the scores of 25-18 and 25-21. Outstanding players were Brea Rigsby and Alexis Nanny. The 8th Grade A Team looked outstanding winning 25-12 and 25-16. Mary Pratt and Damya Riggs played outstanding on the front with several hits each. Outstanding servers were Sarah Gawehn and Mckenzie Wallace. Kaitlyn Divin made her debut as a setter and did a fantastic job all the way around the floor! All of the teams represented Hillsboro ISD in a positive manner on and off the court and we are extremely proud of them. This was a great start to the season. The girls will travel again Monday to Rio Vista. Thanks for your support of our teams!!!!
