Remember to check your UTA email regularly as more will be posted soon! • Aramark is a food service company looking for students to assist with marketing and advertising events using Adobe software. Design experience is not required and software will be taught to the intern. During the paid internship, students will represent national brands for promotions, working an average of 15 hours each week. While there is no GPA requirement, applicants must be in good academic standing with the university. To apply, you will need to fill out an application in person at the Connection Café with David. • BBVA Compass Stadium- AEG Live Houston has marketing and event operations internships available starting Fall 2013. Seniors and graduate students are preferred and students must be able to receive course credit for their work. For qualified students, there is a possibility of being hired after the internship is complete. Interns will work 40 hours a week, which may include weekend and evening hours as well as travel. All living expenses are the responsibility of the student. Students will assist with editing interviews and game highlights for CBS Radio to use on the air for their many radio shows. There is a possibility of being hired after the internship is over, provided there are job openings. Students work ten to twenty hours per week and nights and weekends are required. Specific departments will not be known until later, however, scheduling is flexible with hours available during the workday as well as early morning and overnight. Applications will be filled out at orientation and applicants will be called for interviews. • Isportsweb is a sports reporting company that is looking for an intern this fall to write two to five articles per week. The position is unpaid and requires that course credit be received. Tasks will include writing articles as well as obtaining pictures to accompany the articles and do SEO optimization. The company owns over 100 radio stations across the country and has the largest listenership for music. Broadcast majors are preferred but Salem Communications will consider anyone who is interested in broadcasting. If selected for the Nightlight programming position, hours will be from 7 pm until midnight on weeknights; however, there is flexibility in the schedule.
