More generosity today from the Bramwell Station Road Crew with another donation and an hour of their valuable time to show us how they maintain and sculpt the roads during the very busy dry season. Sarah allowed me to fill up my water bottles from the water truck and get a good drenching too. Loved every minute Sarah. Thank you all for sharing your time with us. We won’t ever forget you Wendy, Norm, Bevan, Paul, Sarah, John, Marcel, Robbie, Deputy, Branch and Nigel (I’m exhausted and hope I’ve remembered you all). Charles, the manager from the Northern Peninsula Regional Council of Cape York was incredibly kind to us as well and gave us a substantial in-kind donation to jump onboard the ferry to cross the Jardine. Thank you Charles. You are a gorgeous man. So, we are on the other side. We’ve crossed the Jardine River and the kms are in double digits. Can’t comprehend it at all yet. Only 65kms to go. It’s hard to believe that there are only two days left of the 1000km trek. We are almost there and my feet are in fine form. Tomorrow is the eve of achievement. God bless dreams.
