More information on M62 closed east and west bound: The M62 is currently closed in both directions (east and west bound) between junctions 22 and 23. The road has been closed as officers deal with an on going incident. The closure is having a significant impact on the motorway and officers are advising motorists to avoid it if at all possible. The closure comes after officers were called to reports of concern for safety of a man at an address on Saddleworth Road, Halifax at 4.09pm.
