More memorabilia. This is the silver card replica of the plaque that was left on the moon by the astronauts of Apollo 11 on the first landing on the moon. The silver doesnt allow for a good photo, but one of these was handed to every passenger who flew on the Ansett network on 20th July 1969. The plaque contains the globe, and the signatures of Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins (who remained in the Command Module circling the moon), Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Richard Nixon, The President. Incidentally, the total tour of duty time was 195 hours, well in excess of ANO and Pilot Contract limitations. Must have been operating under a dispensation. I dont know how many of these remain !!!!
