More money is headed to Dillwyn to fund the Town’s ongoing VDOT Transportation Enhancement Project, say state and local officials. The Commonwealth Transportation Board recently approved $274,100 for phase five of the ongoing project, which, according to VDOT spokeswoman Paula Jones, “…is for construction of sidewalks, street lighting, crosswalks, signage, a retaining wall and pedestrian plaza.” Read all about it in Wednesday’s paper or online at farmvilleherald.
