I attended the official season launch which was attended by Mr John Berry, United States of America Ambassador to Australia and players from the Canberra Cavalry. Woolworths also headed to Parliament this week to showcase their 2014 recipients of the Paul Simmons Award which recognises the development of young employees within the company. It was a great opportunity to congratulate the recipients and talk to them about their careers and plans for the future. I also joined with Neil Oliver for the launch of a new documentary series featuring the Australian War Memorial as it prepares to mark the Centenary of World War 1.
