More of the earliest rail infrastructure in America. This is the top of Morris Canals Inclined Plane #9 West on a 2003 Metrotrails hike. The rails sat upon the sleeper stones here, and some cable is still in place which would have pulled the cradled boats up hill. Today, we finished clearing and marking another new section of the Morris Canal Greenway.
