More pics and info of the bathroom remodel. Yes, I / we did all the work ourselves. The vanity is hand made and distressed with a hand planed and finished, rough sawn cypress top. The sinks are #1 galvanized wash tubs inset into the top. The light fixture is made from pieces of a shipping pallet, some electrical EMT conduit and various other electrical fittings. I bent the tubing into the S shape, assembled, and then painted them oil rubbed bronze. The mirror is the original mirror that was in the bathroom. I removed the old brass frame from the glass and made a wood frame for it. Kay painted and distressed it to look like the vanity. Overall Im pleased with how it turned out but more importantly, Im glad I could make Kays dream become a reality. : ) On another note, I really cant stand painting and thankfully my wonderful wife actually enjoys it. She did all the painting in this remodel. The walls, the trim, the ceiling - all of it, and she did a great job! ❤️
