More prayers needed for 3 yr old Jacey Schmidt Christie Schmidt, his mom, updated me last night with a text. The doctor called this evening with the final pathology report. Stage 2 Wilms tumor..We go next Wednesday for them to surgically insert his port...Stay overnight and get his first chemo treatment Thursday.. .I got the message while I was at church last night..We have several healthcare professionals that attend..Upon asking about this type of cancer.. they all said the same thing..this a very curable type of of cancer in children from 2 to 4..The success rate of treatment is very high..I believe it is 80 to 90%..Dont quote me on this..Praise Jesus ... Its going to tough for awhile not only on Jacey but the family and extended family..Chemo is tough no matter what age and its tough for those on sidelines watching the effect of chemo on their loved one I ask for prayers for: Jacey..that the journey this next little while is easy and he is cured..For Rich and Christie along with his brothers for strength during this tough time..for the grandparents that love him so much and for all there friends and other family that are so much a part of all of their lives..strength and love to help support all of them while they minister to family.... Praise be to God that he has brought Jacey this far..All of you have played such an integral part through your prayer for which the Schmidts and their complete family are so thankful. I know that through all of the prayers being lifted again, in the future I will be doing a post of complete healing for Jacey with adoration to our wonderful and loving God for he is the great healer.. Thank you for taking the time to reading this long post but most of all thank you for the prayers that I know will be lifted
