More ramblings of a fool. As summer passes and we head into a new season, I am reminded of how since childhood, I have always thought the transition between seasons to be something special. For it is not only a change in seasons, but is a step forward in our existence here. As we leave behind the summer, we can reflect on what it has meant to us. The happy times and the sad, the trials and tribulations, the laughs and the tears. The new friends we have met and sadly, as in my case, the old friends we have lost. But that is now just a part of the summer, and that Is now moving on into autumn, and so must we all. There is something quite magical about the change in seasons, It is a chance for us to enter a new phase of our existence here, it is a chance to hope for something better and more exciting, it is a chance to move on to the next phase in our lives, for with each passing season we become more knowledgeable and hopefully more understanding. We also then have an increased ability, and even a duty, to pass on what we have learned to those younger in life and therefore less experienced. It is not only the seasons of nature that continue to evolve and change, we do exactly the same thing ourselves..........I should have been a sodding vicar. (there always has to be a laugh at the end of it folks, and that is probably the most important thing I can say)
