More recently, over the past three years, the fundamentals of the economy have not worked well with stock market investing. Many of the fundamental measurements have not matched up with a bullish stock market. Currently, unemployment is high, GDP is low, retail sales are low, the dollar continues to devalue, inflation is high even though we are told it is not.
