JV Cheering from Ms. Carter - JV cheerleaders headed to Bangor Friday afternoon for their first competition of the year...and I am happy to report they walked away with the first place plaque in their division! These girls have worked hard and stepped onto the mat with confidence and certainly showed the judges just how ready they were to compete. As a coach I was proud of their behavior and sportsmanship throughout the evening! Whitney Pierson and Stephanie Trowbridge took the spirit awards for the lady Falcons. I would like to thank Mrs. Stackpole for the many hours she spent helping and supporting us, you rock Mrs. Stackpole, and, speaking of Stackpoles, we would like to thank Mr. Stackpole for cheering us on from the stands. The varsity cheerleaders that came to support us were greatly appreciated as well. GREAT JOB, ladies working with you is always entertaining :) 8. Varsity Cheering from Mrs. Stackpole - The Ellsworth Falcon Varsity Cheerleaders rolled to a convincing victory on Saturday scoring the highest score in Falcon History. You represented EEMS well with you phenomenal spirit and skill. Everyone including the judges were talking about you. Congratulations to the team and to our spirit award winners, Maddie Nida and Hailey McCabe. Thanks to all the staff, parents, and fans for their support on Saturday. We had the best crowd! As a reward for all of your hard work, there will not be any practices this week. Enjoy your time off. Schedules for the rest of February will be available mid week. 9. Parents and community members are reminded that tomorrow is the day to vote for five new Ellsworth School Board members. The first board meeting is February 11 at City Hall.
