Morning Coffee: I am preaching once again this Morning, and Ill be teaching on Hope: a confident trust with the expectation of fulfillment. And then there is well, I hope I will, Hope I can, this has a bit of doubt in it, an uncertainty of what can be, so which is it for you? What is your hope? Some hope for a good life, but then do nothing with it, some hope for a good day, but all they can see is dark clouds, some hope for a better way to live, but cant seem to get out of their own way. Hope must be attached to trust, and trust must have faith. God wants us to hope, but that hope is directed in him. Psalms 71:5 Lord I put my hope in you, but what was the hope for? Hebrews 6:11, what you hope for will come true So what is the Christian hope? What was Davids hope, to stand before a living and Holy God, as we live we a hope of heaven, we live for our blessed hope and that is Christ alone. In essence an unbeliever has no hope in eternity as he is lost dead in spirit, hope then sees heaven through faith, and its focus is trust, I trust Jesus that he told me the truth. Psalms 119:74 I put my hope in your word, this day, do you put your faith your trust, and your hope in Gods word? Does it sustain you when it, life gets hard? A Dark cloud means rain, rain means life to the plants, trees, animals of the wild, etc. I believe therefore I hope, and hope rises from the ashes and life becomes beauty. I hope for you today, as today you can have Christ in you, and you can share all there promises of heaven, your life can change as hope sees heaven now, we know where we are going as we are heirs to a kingdom, and I long for the day to see my Heavenly Father, for he has loved me, and loves me, and in that there is no hope, only a known fact as I too love him.
