Morning Inspiration: Why wont you listen? Why do you refuse to see? Who in all the world is as blind as my own people, my servant? Who is as deaf as my messengers?...You see and understand what is right but refuse to act on it. You hear but you dont really listen. Isaiah 42:18-20 Isaiah was speaking to the Jewish nation about 2,700 years ago...but his words ring true today in the USA. Day after day, we hear Gods Word, but dont really listen to what it says. We see His instructions, but dont often follow them. Even our pastors and leaders are not immune to this disobedience! If youre wincing at this, its because the truth hurts! Seeing what is right, but not doing it, is worse than not seeing at all! Lord, help us point our fingers of accusation at ourselves today, not others. We so often hear and see who you expect us to be, let us strive to make that the reality, through all that we think, say and do, through you Jesus.
