Morning Nathan Jaskowiak update: I got here just after he - TopicsExpress

Morning Nathan Jaskowiak update: I got here just after he finished physical therapy, so my husband is sound asleep! They had him up and walking the halls several times, and I PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY that I have a husband who, hours after having a stroke, could GET UP AND WALK. My mind has been drawn to so many scriptures and songs, and the one that came to my mind this morning was Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will guide your path. I have no understanding of where God is leading us from here, but I look back upon the path of my life, the trials of the last few months. And the phrase that keeps coming to mind is I have prepared you for such a time as this. I did a quick bible search (hooray for Google), and the phrase is from the book of Esther. Mordecai is pleading for Esther to plea on behalf of Gods people to the king, and he says: For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your fathers house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this? God has placed us here for a reason! He changed my teaching career despite my fears and confusion, he guided our hearts to be good stewards of our finances, and he built in us a marriage of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE...for such a time as this!! We have an Angiogram today at 11:00am, and it is the cry of my heart that GOD HAS ALREADY HEALED MY HUSBAND! I want this to be my testimony, and I will shout it from all the corners of the Earth. I believe in a DIVINE, OMNIPOTENT GOD, and HE has given us an amazing testimony of the power of prayer, of faith, and of the ALMIGHTY. Paul told the Thessalonians to REJOICE always, PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, and in everything give thanks, because this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus.
