Morning Patriots! I’m going to take a turn down a back road - TopicsExpress

Morning Patriots! I’m going to take a turn down a back road here; I want to discuss a concern of mine. I know here in Missouri, we got a grant to give middle school students each their own Ipad to do homework on and such and high school students mac books to do the same. …What?! I remember when I was in school, we had these rare things called “BOOKS” and “PENCILS” and “CREATIVE WRITING ASSIGNMENTS.” Is it just me, or is the federal system pushing to make generation Z dependent on electronics, reducing critical and important thinking skills and keeping them away from free thinking and basic abilities that anyone from the early 90’s and back learned? Is the technology a good idea? Does it really give students access to unlimited information to help them when they are studying? I know that Facebook isn’t in the library. Your opinions, please! Look for me in the comments; I’m going to be really passionate on this one. -9Lives
