Morning Prayer for November 5, 2013 Trusting Tuesday “To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me. Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.” Psalm 25:1-3 Most Merciful God, We thank You again for watching over us as we slept peacefully last night and then gently waking us up to see this beautiful cold Tuesday morning. Some of us truly grateful for the use of our hands to touch and feel; for the use of our feet to stand and walk; for the use of ears to hear the wind whistling through the trees; for the use of eyes to see the beauty of Your creation. God, we do NOT take these things for granted for we realize there are many who are unable to see; unable to walk; unable to hear or unable to touch and feel. Truly, God we are grateful for the little things such as these that we are able to do!!! God, we declare this day as Trusting Tuesday! We truly want to be disciples trusting in You with all of our hearts and leaning not to our own knowledge and intelligence. We trust You at all times, for You are our refuge. You are our rock, our fortress, our deliver and our strength; in You, alone, do we trust. Truly Your way o God is perfect. Your word is proven; You are a shield to us because we trust in You. We put our trust in You, Lord and we do not fear what man or woman can do to us. Lord, You are our refuge from the storm; our shade from the heat and in You is everlasting strength; we trust in You. We draw near to You, O Lord; we put our trust in You and declare all Your works (Psalm 73:28). We are not afraid of bad news; our hearts are steadfast, trusting in You, O Lord. We trust in You, Lord, not in our own strength or our own wisdom. We know that Your Word shall not return unto You void! We praise and give You the glory right now knowing the battle is won and the victory is ours in Jesus name! Amen.
