Morning Prayer of Oneness I thank you God for giving me, The flowers and the bees, The love I have for all this world, Especially you and me, Its a place we love to share, With the animals and plants, Thank you God for allowing me, To join the earthly dance. The oceans team with life, In the shallows of the seas, Where the sunshine dances, Fish are swimming free, In the darkest depths of our oceans, Where the sunlight doesnt reach, An array of light pigmentation, Puts on a show for us to see. I thank you for the land animals, Of which I know are we, A world full of mammals, For humanity to see, Leopard, Cheetah and the Tiger, Camel, Rhino and the Bear, These are just a few, Of the billions living here. Thank you for the spiders and the insects, Amphibians, Reptiles too, All these lovely creatures, Join in earthly dances too. I cannot forget the colour of the world, Projected from the earth itself, Flowers in their billions, In the soil they dwell, They give so very much to us, As they are part of our great earth. Trees and bushes grow, With roots that spread so deep, Creating firm foundations, For the future greenery. God I thank you for the earth, The amazing spectacle we see, I thank you very much, For bringing it to me, The whole point of my prayer, Was to send you all my love, For bringing us together, With the planet that we love.
