Morning Prayer with the Bishop Word for the Day: Strength Thought: Strength doesnt come from what you can do, it comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldnt do. Scripture Reading: Daniel 3 OMG! Its picture day. You have got to change what you put on today. Dont have a wardrobe malfunction even before you walk out the house. The Bible tells us to Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion. What do you decide put on for strength out of your closet you may wonder? Put on Faith!, today as you get dress, leave and go out. Make sure you have on faith to believe that whatever lies outside and whatsoever I must face today make sure you put on some Faith. If you dont want have to be gaudy with it. You dont need to wear a lot. All you need is just a little. Jesus said, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed,,which is tiny, you can say to whatever mountain to be removed and it shall remove; and nothing shall be IMPOSSIBLE unto you. Faith gives us hope and strength to conquer anything. For we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. And the only way we can be strengthen by God is that we first must have the faith to Believe His Word, that Jesus is and can do whatsoever we ask. The Bible tells of a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful to ask money of them that entered into the temple. Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked them for some money. Peter fastening his eyes upon him with John said , Look on us. And the man gave heed unto them expecting to receive something of them but then Peter said silver and gold have I none but such as I have give I thee, In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk and he took him by the right hand and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. It was the mans faith that healed him. Also through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive and have a child when she was past age, because of her faith.
