Morning Reminder. Thursday. Some of What the Messenger of Allah said concerning giving Sadaqa (charity). Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem. The Prophet said: “Give sadaqah without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” By Imam Tirmidhi hadith number 1887. Hudhaifa and Abu Shaiba reported Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Every act of goodness is sadaqa. Sahih Muslim, book 5 hadith no. 2197. Narrated by Suraqah ibn Malik: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Shall I not guide you to the most excellent sadaqah? It is to provide for your daughter when she is sent back to you and has no one but you to provide for her. Imam Tirmidhi hadith no. 5002. Narrated Adi bin Hatim heard the Prophet saying: Save yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half a date-fruit in charity for Allah sake. Sahih Bukhari book 24 hadith no. 498. All these hadith shows the importance of giving charity either by cash, kind or even by smiling to fellow human being. Allahu Akbar. What a beautiful way of life. May Allah increase us in eemaan and protect us from any satanic influences. Aameen.
