Morning Saga powered by Centenary Bank Kojja Ssempagama, I have a problem. I have two kids with two different fathers. I am engaged to the father of my youngest child now. The other father is very much still in the life of my first born. He pays maintenance and does weekends out with my first born son. The problem is he buys expensive gifts for his son and it creates tension with the younger one as well as with my fiancé. At the moment my fiance cannot afford to even try to compete with my ex. My younger son obviously wants similar toys to his old brother but we cannot afford them. I want both my children to have the best of everything so denying my first baby daddy his rights as father to lavish his child seems wrong to me but my younger child is starting to complain. I need advice on what to do on this because I am so confused. I also feel like it’s starting to make my fiancee feel embarrassed that he cannot afford what my ex can and is constantly being reminded of this by all these gifts. My ex wants to send his child to an expensive private school. The kids there pay fees two times my salary and I fear that if I say no I deny my child the best education but if I say yes I am resigning my other child to always feel inferior to the other. Am I being selfish? Help me please.
