Morning Weather Update: Hot and humid weather will continue into the weekend with temperatures once again pushing 90 degrees today under a mix of clouds and hazy sunshine. Some isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible later this afternoon and into the evening. A few of the storms could become strong or develop into a cluster with some damaging winds and heavy rainfall possible and the Storm Prediction Center has placed the region in a "See Text" for severe weather today, but should generally be the exception rather than the rule... An upper level low will then approach the region later Sunday into Monday bringing a chance of more widespread showers and thunderstorms, which could end up on the strong to severe side depending on the timing of the system...check the complete Capital Region forecast here for more details...
