Morning all. On this day in 1099, the First Crusade neared its end as the siege of Jerusalem continued. 15,000 Christian soldiers fasted for three days, and then marched round the city walls to invoke the spirit of Biblical Jericho. The hunger games clearly inspired the Crusaders; around a week later, they entered Jerusalem and pretty much massacred everyone. Nice. On a more pleasant subject, the World Cup is back today - and its the first semi-final as hosts Brazil take on the ultra-consistent Germans. Well have all the build up before the game starts at 9pm. Meanwhile, Le Tour makes its way to France and three glorious days in England, and well also have live racing - all the facilities!
