Morning brought with it white cotton clouds to sail across a blue - TopicsExpress

Morning brought with it white cotton clouds to sail across a blue sunlit sky. Their shapes shifting swiftly as they coursed on by. Their bellies shadowed in shades of grey told me we would likely get rain again later on today. Shot through with soft beams from Grandfather Sun, I watched as a Sky Dragon formed in one. It was stretched out and laying down, its focus on the forest below. I knew then something was up and just where I had to go. I took the wide path into the Wizards Wood, the one beneath the tunnel of trees. Sunlight danced along the path, shot through their canopy. In the distance I saw the forest door that led to a place I knew well. A place where the shadows run deep and my Dragon will share secrets he has to tell. He was waiting there as I arrived, bowed his head and I stroked his warm snout. Well, old friend, I said, what is this all about? His eyes grew narrow, as he exhaled his breath, I need your help today. It seems a little Dragon has gotten loose and gone astray. Weve been combing the forest all through the night, Dragons, Elves, and the Wizard too. Nothing has been accomplished, no one has called out any news. This little one is nowhere in sight, weve been searching everywhere. Would you help us my dear? Of course, I replied, let me ask you this. Is his color a greenish brown? Would he would blend right in with the ground? And does he have his scales fluted down to the tip of his tail? Dragon nodded his head and I laughed. Turn around and look hes been following you along the trail! There he was all curled up near the underbrush. His eyes were drooping he was tired, Im sure it was hard for him to keep up. So little and yet so adventurous, this one would be a handful for sure. Its curiosity was strong, and I knew for that there was no cure. Best you let the others know so send them the news. Ill carry him back to the cavern for you. He looks so sleepy, its the least I can do. Dragon could barely believe his eyes, he just shook his head. Id nearly given up on him thinking he was dead. Yes, of course Ill send the message telepathically. Ill send it out to the other Dragons, Elves and the Wizard who still search amid the trees. So I scooped up that little one and cradled him in my arms. He nestled himself right in, I couldnt resist his little charms. My heart opened up to him and right there I had the foreboding feeling this wouldnt be the last time, hed have us all looking everywhere leaving very few telltale signs. I couldnt help smiling to myself as we made our way into the cavern keep, then down to the nursery where he could get some sleep. The others all made their way to the switchback path, to wait by the sentry tree, theyll be there watching for us to arrive, for all of you, Dragon and me. So Dragon magic will be infused today, Elfin magic too, we know the Wizard will cast his spell and all this into our prayers and blessings will be infused. Up theyll go to ride the Wind, and down to follow the rivers course, blessed by all of us and Creators source. I find this turn of events to be a promising sign, we found the little Dragon safe and sound this time. Its a great way to start the day, and free our hearts of any concern. We can put good energy into our work now at every turn. The blessings will glisten and shine, blessed by us all and the Divine. Theyll touch in ways we may not know but definitely get where they need to go. Come friends, join us here, and afterward the search stories will likely be shared. Well let them tell of their hunt while we dine on our potluck brunch. The Dragons will be famished Im sure, so bring brimstone, please, if you have it to spare. The Elves have brought their own fair, and the forest creatures are fending for themselves here and there. Guess well see you when you get here! :)
