Morning engineers. REF: ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR APPEALING FOR OVERLOADS It has come to our attention that some of you are not aware of the fact that some courses are part time by default. For third year courses all departmental courses with respect to that major are part time courses. If on the transcript it indicates part time then you have to first seek your HOD for whether it can be taken as an overload otherwise its part time and not eligible to appeal to the VC. For 2nd yrs, most if not all, have part time printed on their transcripts but depending on their quotas this status is most likely to change depending on the quotas provision for overload of that particular course. Pliz for the concerned parties, affected by this, approach the chair or me immediately after gettin the quota. Pliz do not appeal without informing us and permission from the HOD because that will implicate both you and those that already applied and were deemed elligible.
