Morning observation: TV is muted this morning as I am reading and I look up to see an interview with Bob Seger. No sound. Just movement. Seger is being very jovial and animated while the hosts are blank-faced. Not the first time I have noticed this, but I am increasing curious as to the choice of camera shots on this show during interviews. The expressions that Charlie Rose, Gayle King and Norah ODonnell have on their faces at times is, well, less than professional. Many times Charlie Rose is shown while the guest is speaking and he has an almost I really wish I were somewhere else! attitude. And both Gayle and Norah sometimes appear to be rolling their eyes or shrugging their shoulders. Here is an attitude unbecoming of hosts. Wheres the invitational spirit? Just an observation. Heres how Id expect Charlie, Gayle and Norah to react to Bob. Now, lets give Seger the respect he deserves. youtube/watch?v=zS6xxSpcYkk
