Morning people, a majority of you will know, we have formed a group called Seaham against Gasification, we have also joined other groups also campaigning against this....the reason we are opposing this is because it is not safe and we have found out our Country ( our coastline as well) is being used as a trial. in other words we are guinea pigs, it has been totally banned in France ( although they want to invest in this) but not on their land!!!!!.we have researched this, the outcome of this if allowed is catastrophic, there was a programme on Sunday 2nd Nov 2014 on R.T. t.v showing the devastating effects of this,in America which then forced the company to close down the rig, but it was too late , whole communities had to leave the contaminated area, but the effect it had has left families with cancers..... yes these people can sue the company , but can be bogged down in legislation for years by which time families have died through it , no money can compensate for this horrifying deaths these people are facing.... please google it, i think you will be shocked,.......the reason i am writing this is to let everyone know this is not political debate and has nothing to do with any political parties, this is from the people who are really concerned and are against U.C.G. & Fracking......
