Moshe also talked about the sacred seasonal cycles, the importance - TopicsExpress

Moshe also talked about the sacred seasonal cycles, the importance of Passover, which is to remember the actual physical liberation from Egypt, but Passover also is about liberation from the metaphorical Mizrayim, which is not a particular country, but the ego. He talked about Shavuot, which is the energy after the seven weeks of the Omer (the ritual barley offerings) are counted after Passover, and he said that this was a moment in history when we attained immortality—no death. And so that energy of the oneness, deveikut, was very high in that moment. And finally, he spoke of the energy of Sukkot, the celebration of the harvest, of what I call the “gratitude time.” This is a time for gratitude for all that we have been given, and this connects us with the angel of sustenance. The more grateful we are, of course, the more we bring in God’s energy. Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, MD
