Most Improved Mutt today goes to Jax. He was very receptive to my corrections just as his handlers were receptive to sticking with it and following through. Most Beloved Mutt goes Richie. Not a fair competition-- he was loved by everything that breathed air. That dog has made other-worldy progress. Most Valuable Mutt goes to Santana for being the new guy in the group and not letting that get to him one bit. The dog had his freaking tail chopped off with a machete and he hasnt been fazed even slightly. He may have been looking a little too eagerly at the goats, all in all, though, he carried himself like a perfect gentleman. He is the embodiment of what our rescue is all about. From his own personal triumph and resilience to the determination and love of his foster family. Fosters, volunteers, mutts and staff kicked ass today and I am thoroughly proud of you all!
