Most athletes take some form of supplement but you have to be very careful when using these products. Yes, they appear to really help with your training, physique, and performance, but the risk and side effects are really frightening. The supplement industry is not regulated and many of the products have been found to have high levels of toxic ingredients. Whole foods are always safer from my perspective and certified organic is the best way to go. The FDA is not always on point even with our regular food, but I would feel a lot better about it if we had someone trustworthy looking into the supplement industry. If you will not give it to your kids then we should not take it either. :-)
