Most dangerous job? China’s brave mountain cleaner As #China’s weeklong #NationalDay holiday came to an end, pictures of a man dangling along a #cliff, collecting garbage left behind by tourists, have gone viral on social media. For the past 14 years, 44-year-old Peng Wencai has been working as a cliff cleaner at #MountEmei in southwest China’s Sichuan Province. The 3,099-meter-high mountain is home to one of the most sacred #Buddhist sites in the country. Each trip up and down the mountain takes Peng nearly three hours. He does this over 80 times a year, clearing tons of trash and ensuring that the site is pristine and well preserved.
