In March 2012, producer Boney Kapoor announced the sequel to Mr. India to be titled Mr. India 2 and featuring Anil Kapoor and Sridevi reprising their roles from the original film while Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor is supposedly casted in negative roles and is to be shot in 3D. However with Kareena opting out of the film, there was no news about any development related to the film.
