Most employers base the validity of a potential employee on their degree and skill set vs character, integrity, etc., I dont want to hire someone based on the first two and disrupt the momentum and growth of my business because they lack the second two. Too many intelligent, innovative and creative people are being overlooked because they lack a piece of paper that says their smarter for whatever reason. They dont oppose quality education. They may oppose the idea of that education being obtained only through an institution, but they dont oppose it altogether they just obtain their education through a different method. And many employers contradict themselves in telling someone to go and obtain a degree and then reject the very thing they just told them to go and get. You dont need a degree as a right of passage, but neither do you need to sit at home and deem you have everything it takes without any wisdom on how to cultivate what is in you. What you need is guidance from the Holy Spirit and a reality check. Get to know Him and get to know who you are in Him. Educational institutions do not produce intelligent, innovative people. Intelligent and innovative people produce educational institutions. God can bring the one who has and the one who has not to the same destination.
