Most memorable moments at St. Joe: 1) Blasting across Lake Michigan in the Z9 Nitro. 2) Dennis Makis (Pops) ability to suck the curtains away from the motel window while snoring ... man does he need CPAP for REAL! 3) Three dinners at The Getaway .... great place to eat! 4) My co-angler (Pops) setting the hook on a smallie, and it came off in mid-air. Hit me in the bill of my cap ... thought it was raining smallies! 5) While waiting to load the boat at ramp, a flying seagull gave the order, Pilot to bombardier, over target Then I believe I heard target acquired. Then after getting splattered on the hat, arm, leg & side of the boat (can you believe it), he reported, target obliterated! 6) The 5-8 MPH current & 25 MPH winds on both days ... a Fortrex 112 lb thrust trolling motor only able to hold position, NOT move forward. Thank you Power Pole for a great product. 7) Pops celebrating his 76th birthday on Saturday. 8) The smile on Todd Williams face when he came in first place on day one. 9) The bigger smile on Bill Kehls face when he took overall First Place for the tournament ... priceless! 10) The aroma in my truck, the origination of which was traced to two pairs of my Zeko shoes after baking all day in the truck. Three pairs of Zekos currently soaking in sink filled with hot water & lysol. 11) And last but not least, The camaraderie of the ESBM guys having dinner & telling lie after lie, after lie, after lie ... First liar doesnt have a chance! Thank for a great weekend guys .... a Bill Kehl, awesome job, the crow tastes like poop!
