Yes, it was different than in Muslim countries but it was a great time of unity, humbleness, and generousity. I miss the many kinds of ethnic food, the potluck dinners, praying among Muslimahs from Somalia, Bosnia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Palestine, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, Thailand, Kenya, Sudan, Philippines, and even Sunni from Iran. It was really beautiful. May Allah strengthen the Muslims in America and protect them from the fitnah of the Quranists, Sufis and Shia as well as the American campaign to "re-write Islam" ameen!
