Most of the Technology Advancements are for better & higher standard of living & long life!! But, are these technology advancements really helping us? Do we know our problems? (1) Earlier v use to anxiously wait for the complete week for a TV program (eg Chitrahar, etc) & the ‘wait’ use to be fun!! Today, all programs r available on demand :):) (2) Earlier there were no lights/ work after sunset & v use to sleep/ relax till the next day sun rise…. Today, the sun rise & sunset has no value… Technology has enabled 24X7 model… :):) (3) Earlier the average lifespan was less but today hitting centuries is easy. Is it good to live a stressful life of creating reserves for 100 yrs of life? (4) Today, v have human beings as actors/ actress in our movies but tomorrow it will be an artificial creatures / Avatars… Etc… What’s the driving factor? Isnt that only 5% of the population are involved in these innovation & can keep the pace & for the rest 95% of the population, it’s an adoption burden at a very high cost? Analogy, v build flyovers to ease the traffic movement but during the construction phase, the life is hell.... and once the construction is completed, the number of vehicles increases & v start planning for metro... An innovation is to solve one problem & create many new ones which demands for another set of innovations... Life is given only once & it goes off in looking for innovative solutions for problems... Wife, “k… k… k… Amit, the topic looks boring… lets focus on the movie... V need to add some comedy & bollywood flavour to the movie… Comedy is easy, just clone urself...” Grrrrrrrr.........
