Most of the days efforts have been directed towards filling in and making sense of the scene I quoted last night. Its now 800 words longer but the last kines arent much different. However, this morning I put some time in on the new story, which is taking its time revealing its secrets to me. However, heres where it stops right now. ================ “Stand there,” he ordered, and proceeded to bustle about, picking things up and putting them down almost haphazardly, and quite ignoring me. “I’m very well, thank you, Mr Random.” I said from the little box on which I now stood. It’s no good correcting his always eccentric manners, but one must try. “And yourself? Why yes, tea would be lovely after such a long journey.” “What? No, yes, tea. Allenby!” Suddenly, his frantic energy halted. Stand just there and do not move.” From somewhere, a beautiful violin came into his hands, and he began to play.
