Most of us have been told, at one time in our life or another that we just dont have what it takes. I was told by my 3rd and 4th grade teachers that I should just stick to the creative side of projects and be the one that illustrates the projects because its okay to be average. I just checked my overall GPA on my degree transfer and its 3.89. I was Editor-In-Chief of the prestigious American River Review, and Mills College just offered me a grip to come to their school next semester (I decided to stay in Sacramento for personal reasons and not complete my BA at Berkeley or Mills.) This is not said to celebrate myself, but rather to demonstrate the truth that if you know you can do something, why in the world would you think someone else knows that you cant? They can judge you all they wish, but they dont know you better than you do. Prove it--not to them, but to yourself.
